Terms, privacy and output rights
Version 1.0 · effective for this implementation baseline. Public sale requires the qualified legal review specified in the launch requirements.
Your inputs and your sound
You retain rights in your original prompts, creative inputs and recordings. You grant SoundCode the limited permission needed to store, analyze and process them to provide the service. You must have permission to upload reference recordings.
Paid users receive a perpetual commercial-use license to exported render assets. To the extent SoundCode owns transferable rights in user-specific SoundSpec configurations and generated source portions, those rights are assigned to the exporting user. This excludes the platform engine, templates, compiler, interface, generic DSP modules and pre-existing components. The portable runtime included in exports carries its own MIT license.
Creative control and provenance
AI proposes technical parameter changes for your approval. SoundCode records human actions separately from AI proposals. A locked sound identifies its specification, engine version, seed, source declarations and artifact hashes. This is evidence of process; it does not promise copyrightability, exclusivity, registration or legal clearance. Those questions depend on the facts and applicable law.
Do not use SoundCode to reproduce protected recordings, stems or distinctive melodies without authorization. Reference analysis extracts descriptive features. No reference waveform samples or stems enter the synthesis-only V1 renderer. Exact named-artist imitation requests are redirected toward neutral production characteristics.
Subscriptions and credits
Prices, billing intervals and taxes are shown by the configured payment gateway before purchase. Subscriptions renew according to those terms until cancelled through the supported account or gateway controls. Credits are compute entitlements, not money; they cannot be withdrawn or transferred. The current retail reference is 1 credit ≈ SAR 0.10, but discounted pack price, subscription revenue, provider COGS and infrastructure cost are separate accounting values. Monthly subscription credits renew by plan; purchased credit lots do not expire under the current policy. Metered operations show an integer credit quote and resulting balance before execution. Provider or system failure and QA rejection release the reservation according to the operation policy, without double refund. Existing sound assets remain accessible when credits run out. Cancellation does not revoke commercial licenses already granted for paid exports.
Data collected and service providers
The service stores account details, workspaces, sound specifications, creative history, usage records, temporary reference files, derived descriptors, rendered artifacts and support reports. Supabase provides authentication, database and private storage. A configured payment gateway processes payments; SoundCode does not store full payment-card details. When configured, the AI provider receives only the current SoundSpec, concise relevant history, project context, your request and selected descriptor profiles. Raw reference audio is not sent to the AI provider.
Training consent is off by default. No model-training pipeline is enabled in V1, including for users who opt in. Account metadata and creative assets are retained until deletion. Raw reference recordings are deleted within a maximum 24-hour window and can be deleted immediately from the studio. Temporary worker files are removed after processing. Production application logs are configured for 30-day retention; necessary billing or audit records may be retained according to applicable obligations and the deployment retention policy.
Access, export and deletion
Use Account & Privacy to export your account data, update your profile or request permanent deletion. Account deletion requires password reauthentication and cancels an active subscription before removing project assets. Use the in-app support form for privacy and service requests. Backups are access-restricted and expire according to the documented recovery policy; a restore must reapply outstanding deletion records before serving customer traffic.
Service limitations
SoundCode supplies sound-design tools rather than legal advice, a mastering service or a native DAW plugin. Keep downloaded copies of important exports. Availability and performance targets are operational objectives, not a guarantee of uninterrupted service. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
